About Southwater Homecare

I am a self-employed carer. I live in Southwater with my husband, two children and our family pets. I started my career in 2010 when I joined a domiciliary company in Surrey. Sometime later, I joined a more local care agency in Horsham, where I was employed for 3 years. Due to a personal experience which led me to be unable to find good quality of care for a family member, I made it my goal to work towards providing a high quality and personalised care service for each individual I support. I left the care agency in 2017 to work towards my goal, quickly taking on a number of clients, and delivering them the personalised, high quality care they required. Over the past few years, these clients have recommended me, allowing my client base to grow.

I am very flexible and can adapt to each individuals personal needs. I have experience in many aspects of adult social care, as well as experience with Social Services, crisis teams and mental health nurses. I am confident and competent in organising care packages, managing hospital appointments and transport, and liaising with agencies and families. I have a wide network of experienced care contacts, should you have additional requirements. During my time being self-employed, I have not only gained clients, I have also made many friends, being fortunate enough to care for high-profile, confidential clients. I have a full understanding of how daunting a new stranger coming into your home can be, and I am confident that I will be able to make this process a lot easier by having a calm, approachable, caring and understanding working manner. I have a non-uniformed approach, which I believe is more settling, and more relaxed.  My wish is to continue providing the highest quality of care as I move on through my career, which I really do enjoy. I want to provide an exceptional service to those in need, within their own home, giving them the dignity they deserve.
